Tampa Bay fishing report
Sorry for the delay in the fishing reports. Fishing was going great and computer time was limited. Todays charter was Jason and Christie McMullen. We had a great day of Tampa Bay fishing mangrove shorelines and catching snook, jack crevalle, and other species to include spanish mackerel and ladyfish.
We were fishing the outsides of the islands looking for fish laid up under the mangroves and near the potholes. One of the highlights of the day is while we had a dead bait rod off the back of the boat get slammed by a good size bull shark.
Unfortunately the leader couldn’t hold up to this beast and we lost it. But we did get to see a great jump to get an idea of the type and size.
