Fishing Charters Tampa Bay
We were fishing Tampa Bay area residential docks and had a fantastic trip. We were using live shrimp with circle hooks and casting under and around docks that had grass flats and mangroves nearby. The baitfish are still available at the deeper water structures of Tampa Bay but the shrimp for me has been the ticket lately. The 58 degree temperature had me trying several docks and also out on the shallow flats with potholes. The potholes that I tried we struck out on so we stuck with dock fishing and it paid off. We were rewarded with nice redfish, snook, sheepshead, and I believe a pretty good flounder too.
The water temp is about as cold as we’ll see this winter and the fishing should remain steady. I’m booking a lot of spring dates right now for fishing charters Tampa Bay area, call today to discuss the best tides for your charter!
