Charter Fishing Tampa Florida
With the crazy beginning we had to spring our fish seemed to start out on the confused side. The weather would get warm then cool down and then repeat that a few times. Now, finally, that’s all over and we seem to have gotten into our classic spring time patterns for charter fishing Tampa Florida. The kingfish, spanish Mackerel, flounder, Key West grunt, gag grouper (some of the best fishing for these that I’ve seen in years), cobia, and sharks have all been daily catches off the beaches from 16ft. on out to the artificial reefs and hard bottom areas.
While inshore fishing Tampa Bay areas we’ve seen steady catches of seatrout, snook, spanish mackerel, bluefish, shark, scattered cobia, and redfish when they’re in a “cooperative mood”. Tarpon fishing started slow for me this year with the weather being off but looks to be shaping up nicely now. Bait has made a solid showing on Tampa Bay area flats which is making it way easier on those less than perfect windy days to catch bait.
Fishing in Tampa Bay only gets better from here on out…book your trip today to get the best tides….
Tight lines!
