Fishing Guide in Tampa Bay Florida

We’ve been having really great winter weather lately making me glad I’m a fishing guide in Tampa Bay Florida. Shorts, t-shirts, and sandals are the norm and a  “cold” day has been a day in the mid 50′s. Most of the days on the water have been in the mid 60′s to mid 70′s lately and the fish have been eating well in the afternoons mainly. The sheepshead are starting to pick up with the main spawn not starting yet but should soon. If you’re looking for table fare they really are a great eating fish and I can’t think of a better fish to fry. I like to think of them as “bridge grouper” when it comes to the frying pan! The sea trout are making a better showing in the shallow potholes and islands on higher tides along with the occasional redfish.
