St. Petersburg snook fishing Report

Yesterday I had a trip in St. Petersburg fishing down at the mouth of Tampa Bay. The snook are in their spring staging areas. In these areas we also had success with slot sized redfish and keeper grouper. The key bait yesterday was pinfish that I caught in the cast net that morning and also used a sabiki rig to catch. The snook were still on the skinny side from the winter but the red was thick from eating all winter. We finished the day with trout to complete the inshore slam!
