Fishing Tampa Bay
Fishing Tampa Bay has really been good lately with all the warmer days we’ve been having. I’m focusing on residential canals, potholes, grass flats, and bridge structures. Also by looking for where the mullet have been in good numbers that’s where I’ve had success finding multiple redfish and trout. The sheepshead bite has been good in St Petersburg fishing with live shrimp and barnacles. If your looking for a fish thats more than willing to eat(and good to eat), put up a good fight on light tackle, and are very abundant this is your fish. There’s talk of Spanish mackerel along with scattered bait pods down around the Skyway bridge area. This is good news as this means the fish are on the move and spring is right around the corner.
