Fishing St. Petersburg
Today I left out of St. Petersburg and fished with 2 clients one being local to the area and the other from Wisconsin. We started out at the big bridge and caught some small grouper and snapper and decided it was best to move on being that the tide wasn’t really doing anything yet. Good move. We went out to the beaches to look for tarpon and instead found a lot of sharks patroling the sand bar area looking for food. We set out a bait and was instantly inhaled. Nice 3 1/2 to 4 ft. shark to the boat and we repeated that a couple of times and then left for other fish. We moved inside on the flats and caught redfish and then moved to another bridge for some jack crevalle and bluefish action. Great day with great people on the water fishing Tampa Bay!!
Tight lines!
