Fishing St. Petersburg flats
Winds have kept us from fishing the beach for several days now but there’s still plenty of action on the flats. Lately fishing St. Petersburg flats we’ve seen a lot of seatrout, spanish mackerel, jacks, bluefish, ladyfish and more. Before the wind made the water murky we were on the beaches catching big spanish, all the sharks we wanted, cobia, grouper, red grouper, snapper, and grunts. Fall is slow season for guiding so there is little boat traffic on the water. Now is a great time to be fishing with the decrease in fishing pressure. Hopefully we’ll see a lot of easterly breezes and great beach fishing for the next month!
Tight lines…
