NO OIL HERE Tampa fishing report

First off let me start my report by saying our Tampa fishing is FINE, there is NO OIL here!! It’s not even close. I think at some point we will be worrying more about how close it is but at this time come on down and enjoy your vacation along with beautiful weather and clean beaches.

Now onto the report. The fishing has been great lately using a mix of live and dead bait. The catches have been seatrout, mackerel, bluefish, big jacks, snapper, cobia, sharks, snook, flounder, redfish, and more. It sounds like a lot but many of the spots that we fish have several species in one spot. The diversity is awesome and keeps it interesting and no two days are the same fishing Tampa Bay. Also, let me not forget the grouper. We’ve been doing really well on gag grouper this year using live and dead bait on spinning gear in the shallows. I’ve got to thank a good friend Capt. Tim for helping me dial in that inshore option and broadening the spectrum of fish we catch here while fishing Tampa Bay.

I still have days available for June. The fishing is great right now so enjoy!
