St. Petersburg fishing
Well, where do I begin… The St. Petersburg fishing of last summer with the hurricanes and the dreaded red tide had all but shut the charter biz down for the time being. Myself included. Now, fish in St. Pete have returned in some areas and some areas that have not. We’ve changed tactics and moved to different areas to find fish in feeding patterns and it’s back to business. Right now, sheepshead, silver trout, black and red drum are on the daily list of targets. Excellent table fair and action. However, spring is right around the corner. Soon, we’ll start seeing the baitfish migrating back inshore. Snook, redfish, trout, king and spanish mackerel, shark, tarpon, cobia, pompano, and many more will be the targets. Don’t delay on booking your spring fishing trips. Dates fill up fast.
Tight lines!
